Red Rhyolite Necklace

Rhyolite, garnet, gold-fill. 

It’s always a treat to find red in rhyolite, as I usually see only green hues. This piece also features lovely quartz inclusions. I felt as if I were watching this stone form while mesmerized by the mud pots in Yellowstone.
