Pockets of Iron Necklace

Lake Superior Stone, oxidized sterling silver. 

I am not sure if this is slag or chert, but I wanted to include it in my Superior Collection! I love the swishing movement on the one side and the pockets of iron deposits on the other. Very smooth to the touch . . . and a feeling of man meets nature. The textured chain gives this piece a lovely rugged, yet refined feel. I had a hard time letting this one go! 

Necklace is adjustable up to 18", and pendant is approximately 1" wide by 5/8" high
